I got this e-mail and thought someone might have a interest in it. I'm not really sure if he wants to sell it or wants to find someone to share info.

Hi Les,

I was wondering if there are many Apple II hardware/software developer
enthusiasts around. I pulled out my old Apple II from the first year
Apple sold them, and got it up and running again. I bought a NIB Apple
IIe Platinum on eBay a few months ago (with NIB color monitor, mouse,
and 5.25 " drive!), and have enjoyed the simplicity of the vintage
system. My next task is to find the Apple Fast SCSI card
driver/utilities on 5.25" format for a card I have.

I plan to get CP/M up and running (if your familiar with this
operating system) on the Apple IIe. I have the card and software. My
interest in doing so is that I bought an IMSAI 8080 and dual Shugart
8" drives (an old S-100 bus system) and wish to get CP/M up and
running on it. I have not even powered the system yet - need to
collect up all sorts of software on 8" format (before I die).

Between 1965-1969 I built a home computer using register techniques
that became the foundation for current microprocessors (attached
photo). There were nice stories about this in the Tribune and Pioneer
Press (the photo is from the latter) in 1969, but of course nobody
really understood the significance of the effort at the time. I have
had little time since then to think about computers at the grass-roots
level.

I was a member of Minni'app'les the first five or six years of it
beginning.

Steve
